The titles are out of order, but they are also on IMDB. Hopefully they will fix this soon, although it is no problem for me! I love this show hard (speaking as Alana). I watched the web series a while back and couldn't wait to see what Amy Pohler let them do on Comedy Central. The girls remain the same and have the same edge. I can't recommend it enough!
Well, I still haven't seen the ending, but here's what I think so far. It's not a 'masterpiece'. It's not an amazing film. BUT, for anyone interested in folklore and fairy tale adaptations, it is definitely interesting. See, you mustn't match it as a realistic story. That way, you're gonna hate it (the main characters, and victims make really stupid mistakes, dialogue's not great...). It is more enjoyable, if you see it from a folk tale point of vue. Even if it is set in the modern world, nowadays, it still has a fairytale logic to the characters actions and decisions. Really nice glimpses to the three little pigs tale (notably, the 'houses' scenes captured very well the atmosphere the original tale had, with the little pig trying to protect himself inside his refuge, talking to the wolf, telling him to go away...).
Even if Jon is Rhaegar's son he was born out of wedlock, he will still be a bastard.
the theory is they were married in Dorne or Isle of Faces, hence why his kingsguard stayed with pregnant Lyanna to not only guard his new wife, but another son to be born to inherit the crown, too.... well to be inline to inherit. You have Dany and Aegon (or Young Griff) in the line too.:| Ice has been reforged into two new blades. Two in reach they can use to kill the dragons. They need to find what happened to Ice so they have the steel back. there will be 7 books, so far Martin has 5 out and the 6th "Winds of Winter and then the 7th book "Dreams of Spring" are coming out who knows, he beats around the bush A LOT!!! I for one have wanted the nest installmet forever... i bought all the others on the day they released and finished them within days. I think the 5th was released June of 2011 so it has been a longgggg wait.. they're great books!!! as for the seasons on hbo, well i originally heard 7 seasons, a year for each installment of the book.. but i have read more then once now that the producers want to push for 8-9 seasons if the fan base stays true and hbo keeps want the VERY $$$$ series back for more. I read that they would simply stretch say season 5-6 for the book 5.. with as much material as the books have it can easily be done, the paperback reaching a 1000 pages for most. A Game of Thrones (1996) A Clash of Kings (1998) A Storm of Swords (2000) A Feast for Crows (2005) A Dance with Dragons (2011) The Winds of Winter (forthcoming) A Dream of Spring (forthcoming) He is 65 years old, what if he god forbids dies before he writes the last installmenthttp://www.solarmovie.tl/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/cry.gif.. sheeshhh.http://www.solarmovie.tl/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/sweat.gif Your comment had me thinking: I bet you he sold his soul to write a world-renowned, bestselling series of books; a chronicle that would put him down in history as one of the greatest writers if all time BUT: the trade off was that he would die after the final book was written/published (which is why he's taking his sweet time). WHAT IF?!http://www.solarmovie.tl/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/huffy.gif there will be 7 books, so far Martin has 5 out and the 6th "Winds of Winter and then the 7th book "Dreams of Spring" are coming out who knows, he beats around the bush A LOT!!! They have a general idea of where each character is going. They also know how the book ends. A good chunk of ADWD will be combined with AFFC for the show because the events are happening at roughly the same time. Book 4 is Kings Landing and Book 5 is everywhere else. There is soo much important material that it could stretch 2 maybe 3 seasons. I also saw in an interview that GRRM is thinking of a movie for the finale to the book because he doesn't think HBO will have the budget for it. Blackwater cost around 15 million, so you can imagine what he has in mind for the end. His imagination is so effed up (in a good way) that I couldn't even begin to imagine what he has in store. Let's cross our fingers and hope he is in excellent health and can finish this series. GRRFatguts probably will! That's why I get annoyed that he's stuffing around with every other thing. When I see King Robert I think of good ole fatguts, drinking and whoring himself to death and leaving many loose ends (knock knock JRRTolkien). As for the series 'shelf life' I have seen a number of pre/reviews that have stated that the season we're watching now (4) will wrap up book 3 and start on book 4. Considering what's to come I wouldn't be surprised if they continued in this way until fatguts finishes writing the whole story. Well, he'll have to if they want to put it on TV! http://www.solarmovie.tl/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/funk.gif Ok... there is something that the book danced around a lot that has me bothered all these years and the series only mentions here and there in season 1. Maybe one of you can shed light on my confusion. -Eddard's sister Lyanna, who was betrothed to Robert, was kidnapped by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, sparking the war. Her abduction by Rhaegar Targaryen was the event that ultimately triggered Robert's Rebellion and led to the downfall of the Targaryen dynasty. She is taken to the Tower of Joy.. I know That she is left heavily guarded when Rhaegar leaves to fight Robert and dies. Ned goes there and the kingsguard that is there kills his entire group but him and one other, ned see his sister just in tme in a bed of blood and she has a fever and makes him Promise her something... he is haunted by the promise from then on. my question could Jon Snow be the son of her and Rhaegar and thus being the third head of the dragon and thus being an heir to the Iron Throne. I mean for Ned to really cheat on Cat with all is honor is hard to swallow, i know there are two theories in the books of the mother, but they are not concrete... remember Ned only got truly mad, angry and frightful to Cat once.... when she told him to send the kid away, and he was like, shiiiittt chic no can do he is of my blood, even him always saying that could be because it is true, his sisters blood, he traveled back with her bones to Winterfell and ended up showing up with an infant child almost the same age is Rob. Just a thought.... Stannis threatens Jon, demanding him to be the King of The North and to marry the wildling princess and Jon doesn't break is vowels to The Watch as there Captain to take all that, even though it is very tempting, sooo maybe it ends up John is pretty much destined to be King of everything... and of that is true he is no bastard but son of Lyanna and heir to the Iron Throne via Rhaegar. A Targaryen!! http://www.solarmovie.tl/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/biggrin.gif and last question did Lyanna get kidnapped because Rhaegar really loved her or was he mad and obsessed with her and really took her off and raped her and her hating him the entire time.... i mean did he seriously risk his kingdom for a very beautiful random girl or is it much deeper then that?? It is all very, Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, isn't it..http://www.solarmovie.tl/js/jquery-bbedit/smiley/tongue.gif That's the big theory on the westeros.org-R+L=J That would mean Jon is a Targ and a warg. There are videos on youtube also giving "proof" that he is a Stark and Targaryen. The series is called the Song of Ice and Fire and some have said that's a direct reference to Dany(Fire) and Jon(Ice) or Jon alone Ice and Fire. I don't believe there is any confirmation whether he kidnapped and raped Lyanna or she ran off with him. Oberyn makes the comment that Rhaegar left his sister for another woman. Another thing is when D&D met with GRRM to pitch the show, he specifically wanted to know who they thought Jon Snow's mother was before he agreed. From that, I would think his mother is essential to the story, but I really don't know.
a Targ and a Warg.. hhehe i just read through some of the threads, interesting. The Fire and Ice reference I had thought of them as fire and ice, but with what happens in the 5th book to Jon i don't know what to think... I understand that he was stab 4 times and didn't feel anything but cold on the last one. However people have been stabbed 20 times and survived before, it never states that he was stabbed in the vital organ, before the giant distracts everyone smashing around with that "club". Jon's wound is described as "SMOKING" in the cold air - note: not "steaming," which would seem to be a very deliberate word choice - and Bowen Marsh's tears are SALTY. And there is Melisandre. When she tries to search the flames for signs of Stannis being Azor Ahai, she only sees Jon Snow. Plus we have seen other other servants of the red god bring dead people back, it it has not been confirmed or denied that she has this ability.... Another person who was said to be dead and is clearly back it the books, is momma Cat Stark... sooo i guess i will see with the other books. to give another theory out there, Jon is dead or at least Jon's body is dead but he has changed shape and will continue to exist through the body of his dire wolf. One of the northern men had to ability to shape shift and it certainly seemed that Jon also had some of these capabilities so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he wasn't present in the other books in wolf form. Also since Nymeria is also still out there maybe at some point Jon and Arya's dire wolfs will have some part to play. I think Jon will become the rider of Viserion who is also all white with red eyes. Just Like is direwolf Ghost!!!! White.red eyes... hmmmmm:|
Since you failed to mention the account name, I looked it up for you. What I found was that it hadn't been used for 10 months, has been banned since last December, and you already have almost as many rep points (16) on this new 3 day old account as you did on that on (21).
GOOD GRAVY!! this was great.. watched it straight through - couldn't stop.. mcconaughey and harrelson are good together and they put not only their talent but their money into this.. tv is just so much better when they make a good long film and then present it in 8 or 10 episodes.
The Grudge http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0391198/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4 wow..it's still hunting me, even though i saw this movie a few years ago... sometimes in the dark i can imagine the hair from the corner..ufff...scary enough!
