Got to love this movie. even though I usually don't watch movies like this. I just got so hooked becouse it was so funny, absurd and epic (so crasy stuff going on that all I could do was laugh). Love Emma Roberts one of the best actors ever!

So, as I fell asleep around 45 minutes yesterday I had to watch the 2nd part of the movie today. I actually liked it. I mean, none of it was even remotely believable. At all. But I liked the way it was shot. I really liked the way the cameras captured some of the scenes. And also the good job they did with the sound. It wasn't really clean most of the time but it fit well. Also the dream sequences with the cop guy were nice, I have a lot of similar nightmares. And that desert was a good place to make that film imho. Anyway I can understand that watching the whole thing in one go can be pretty tedious, and the movie in itself had no real point whatsoever. I liked the background stuff though (TV, radio etc) which was in really high contrast with that desert with absolutely no one to be seen. Since they left Bethany the only person Wendy have seen is the guy who helped her with her car, there was no one in the 2 motels she slept in (I mean obviously there was someone probably but we haven't seen them, and she hasn't seen the people from the car crash). So, all in all, there were some enjoyable features in that flick, if you like surreal ghost stories in the desert, that's kinda the kind of movie you'll like. And if you have the time. And like slow paced movies. And, and, and...
I actually couldnt watch it till the end. A fugitive wanted for murder forces a mother and child to give him shelter. Before they both get attached to him, because he does all the chores in the house, bakes a cake, fixes the garden, teaches the child how to play baseball - and in addition, walk around the house shirtless and sweaty - They have an entire night to call the police, as he hasnt tied them up. Even the day before, he wasnt really careful. Its as if telephones did not exist in this house. I dont know... I didnt buy it.
