Really enjoyed this movie, Rose Byrne is always great to watch and as someone who has lived with Social Anxiety Disorder for a long time I can relate to Adam quite a bit.
Great movie! it was warm and funny. great acting.
Loved it !
A lovely little love story. Falling in love is part awkwardness and part magic for everyone. Hugh Dancy (starring in the new Hannibal TV series) takes a challenging role and subtly produces empathy, sensitivity, and relatability. Asperger's Syndrome is still highly unknown and misunderstood, and this love story brings it to light with tenderness. It's a hot mess, this falling in love stuff.
An interesting and a movie that expands someone's narrow world view.
A good story about what love is... and how we see people narrowly and superficially. In doing so, we miss a big part of life.
My husband and I loved this film. We have a son with Asperger's, although higher-functioning than the character, Adam. We consider ourselves blessed and lucky to have our son in our lives. He is smart and soulful, incredibly kind and sensitive. Some of his quirky behaviors were well-represented by the on-screen performance of Hugh Dancy. We are anxious to see this movie come out on DVD because it is a must-buy film for us.
A very good movie! Interesting story line, and great acting.
