Fucking HILARIOUS. Cannot WAIT for the sequel. Take Steve Oedekerk, worship him as your God.
:rotten: It was torture just watching the first five minutes.

If you have the right sense of humor, Kung Pow! is a really good time. It's one amusing scene after another, with a few hilarious ones in there too. You need to watch the film in the right mind-set, though, to get any enjoyment out of it. Watching it with a group of people that have that kind of sense of humor makes it exponentially better (being under the influence helps too). It does lack cleverness, just one outrageous joke after another, and the jokes sometimes go on too long (especially when you don't find them funny) but there's still enough laughs and pokes at kung-fu films to enjoy it.
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) - A silly, crude martial arts film. It's a good movie if you're watching with your buddies. The only really interesting aspect of the film was how the writer-director-actor inserted himself into vintage Chinese martial arts footage.
Depending on who you are this can be the funniest movie you've ever seen or the worst. I loved this movie. I couldn't stop laughing from its brainless comedy. In the near empty theature i saw it in on opening day. There was a mix, the people that hated it and left early and the people who loved it falling out of there chair laughing. You either get it or you dont its that simple. If you are a fan of his other movies such as Thumbtanic or Thumbwars you will love this. I would recommend this to teenagers who think brainless comedy is hilarious or people of any age high on something
One of the most horrible movies I have ever seen. It's really only amusing for like the first 10 minutes, then it's all complete crap.
Good, just be sure to watch it with friends or not watch it at all.
:fresh: KUNG POW! was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. It had everything a movie needs: bathroom jokes, Dubbing to make a movie hillarious and funny action sequences. If anyone wants to rent this movie..."I Hope You Have ICEYS!" (quote from Kung Pow!)

KUNG POW
(STEVE OEDEKERK, 2002)
PG-13
1 HOUR 21 MINUTES
A very stupid movie. I'll admit I did laugh out loud, maybe 3 times. but the rest of the movie was such torture it greatly overshadowed any funny moments. Any movie that does a Matrix fight spoof with a computer animated cow is not worth my time.
Movie Critic Quote that sums it up best:
"...an early favorite on 2002 top ten "worst" lists. I think I laughed. Once. Maybe not."
