I thought it was originally Dakota Fanning as well
The girl on the poster is Isabelle Allen, she's the actress who plays young Cosette. She's adorable and very talented, I suppose that paired with the blonde hair and blue eyes does give her some resemblance of Dakota Fanning.
Agreed! I saw it the day after Thanksgiving in the theater, and I cried multiple times. Hathaway and Jackman were simply amazing. And the fact that they filmed all the singing live is incredible, a first for recent movie musicals (if I remember correctly). This is, hands down, my favorite musical. I was somewhat leery (sp?) of seeing the movie as I've seen it on stage in London, SF and NY. But the movie was even better than I thought. A++ (I look forward to watching it again on SolarMovie. Thanks to all the linkers!)
I saw this in theaters! It was really good!
I'm back to see it again I could not take it from my head since i saw it! Definitively my favorite from 2012!
Several of the links are dead and have been reported, though not removed.
nice one for a change! I did not seen a decant musical in years, but I love this one, is definitely must see (of course if you are without prejudice when come to musical movies) and yes all dialog is singed by actors!
I've seen Les Mis on played on theater. I've also seen the 10th and the 25th anniversary concerts. I think the movie is a celebration of the 27 years that the musical has accomplished. It turned out to be sing a longs for a couple of LM fans (cept for the new song and some lyric changing) It was heartwarming to see pioneering theater actors in the movie namely Colm Wilkenson (Original JVJ) and Frances Ruffles (Original Eponine.)
If you're a LM fan, it's a must watch.
They're developing a Broadway show about mud bogging and tractor pulls. We'll keep you posted.
Each to their own, but I am sorry my father, my brother, and my man all watched this because we are into culture and we love going to plays, and musicals all the time, along with other things such as going to museums, arts shows...etc. This type of taste for different life things doesn't make any man less of a man trust me! Simply by watching this its each individual persons own taste in life. Cheers.. Enjoy it all.
