@CrazyPurple you can watch the episode of agents of shield, there are no real spoilers that pertain to this movie (i haven't watched the movie yet but watched agents of shield)but it stands well on it's own.
The movie was overall horrible. I was very tempted to see it in the cinema, but I can't remember what happened and I didnt - something I now see as a great thing. The whole actor pov camera style, is so worn out, especially in movies this genre. I wont begin looking for logic in few scenes or as to why in the hell would they do some of the things they did, so I'll stop there, and just say the camera work is horrible. Story? Also horrible. Seen before, heard before, in every possible version, and this one is definitely not special in any way. Acting was alright, thats why I give it 1/10. Overall movie, as you might figure out, is a waste of time, wouldnt recommend watching unless you really want to.
I always watch any film with Thomas Hayden Church. This was surely a difficult acting job for him...I mean physically! It had a Fargo-ish feel to it. I like that kind of film, and I thought this was okay. 7/10
@wildkitty691 there's a reason they did the Mandarin the way they did, watch the Marvel One Shot: All Hail The King to fully understand. After all, many actors have based their performances on their real life counterparts ;)
Awesome episode. This has been the most emotional so far! That girl just makes you wanna love the whole world and smile with her, cry with her and do good things for everyone. Finally a T.V. series that is about good thing amidst all that we think is bad. ;-)
I think it would be a good one if they went beyond the gore, like a life story that led up to his 'brilliant', and totally ethical battlefield tactics...lol. Mel Gibson should direct it. It could be like the Romanian love child of 'The Patriot' and 'Apocolypto'. On the same note: I ould LOVE to see a great, high budget film about Elisabeth Bathory. A few have made some sophomoric attempts, but either had great difficulty capturing the bleak mood and environment of a Lady that desired company so badly that she invited gypsy strangers inside the castle walls during wartime, or they twist it into some stupid vampire story. Why does everything have to be vampires? Why can't the Lord of the Carpathians simply be more violent and brilliant against foreign invaders, or a woman driven mad from isolation that she believes that bathing in the blood of the innocent will keep her young forever (Blood, Milk & Sky, baby)... If someone made a film about Teppish today, he would probably ride a unicorn into battle, and sparkle under the full moon. Elisabeth Bathory would probably be Lilith, and could only be defeated by pickled turnips that were blessed by the only rabbi to have ever assisted the pope on an exorcism.
That is not the issue Reamer, what I was 'also' referring to was that I get notifications, sometimes, when someones just makes a post after I do, as with the first notification I got for Darth's reply today. Like pirates said, basicly a 'false notification'.
