I remember this one. Fell asleep in the middle of it.
I think it's okay... Not THAT good. I think it has a tendency to drag along, without being boring.. But then when something happens, it has to be spectacular and unreal, because it dragged along for so long, and then it needs some exitement... ''I am the spirit warrior, i cant miss!'' and then he hits a hand, on riding horseback, on a moving train, over 400 feet away... really? that's my point. It wasnt boring , but not spectacular either..It dragged along, and when action came, it was way over to the top.. it was a WESTERN not a pirates of the carribean mystic fantasy world. Ill give it 6/10 for johnny depp being an awesome actor, as always.
I am not easily impressed /// but I AM impressed. Very watchable film.
I enjoyed this movie. people were expecting this, expecting that but forgot to just sit back and enjoy. bad guys got what they deserved and we enjoyed some good laughs and entertainment. thumbs up
Johnny Depp's character was the native version of jack sparrow. The only reason i enjoyed this movie was because of tondo, other then that it was…..alright.
I just... can't... wow... just wow
that was awesome ... hehehe ;)
couldn't get into this
Pretty good movie. johnny Depp is a good actor and all but all of his rolls are kind of the same.
I was expecting it to be a silly children's movie, but was pleasantly surprised. Johnny Depp with his usual silly lines and antics, similar to sleepy hollow and pirates, but still different.
William Fichtner surprised me, I kept having to double check to remember it was him. His make up and acting might have been better than Depps.
Those (and Helena Bonham Carter) were the only actors I knew, I guess just to attract sales, the rest of the cast I'd never heard of, but they weren't bad actors or anything.
This movie is just fine for adults, it's not strictly for kids. It might have gotten its bad reviews, because people were expecting more of a children's movie, and that's why they were disappointed. Lots of violence (for a kids movie) and adult themes. Its PG-13 rating seems more than appropriate though.
I could have done without the whole "princess bride storytelling" scenes though. Those were boring and took me away from the moments, mostly.
I really enjoyed the entire two and a half hours of this movie's screen time.
When the Lone Ranger theme song came on, a huge smile appeared on my face and I got excited.
I loved the movie and will watch it over and over again!
