Yesterday at James' we watched "War Games" a 1983 classic that I see on TV once in a while. Its one of those movies (like 3 Days of the Condor) that despite being pretty creative, well produced and well written, can't help but be fatally dated...

But still entertaining none the less. The funny/sad thing was that some of the people we were watching with weren't even born when the movie came out (ouch!) I remember seeing it in the theater when I was a kid and then rushing back to our Atari 800 and trying to figure out a way to take over NORAD with it...

Here we are 21 years later and my computer still can't talk like this. whats up with that?

Last but not least, this movie contains one of the best 'random' lines in movie history.

Comments pending.

Batman Begins:

Infinitus is just going to splooge all over this.
THIS MOVIE IS A LOT OF FUN. DATED, YES, BUT MATTHEW BRODERICK IS IDEALLY CAST.
so thats whats gonna happen in a few years!.....

WarGames (1983)

WarGames is another movie I missed among my ratings and it's also a movie I plan to watch again soon. It has been so many years since I've seen it but I always kind of liked it even though it is kind of ridiculous and terribly dated today. In fact, I think one of the reasons I like it as much as I do is because it is so dated.
WarGames (1983): 8/10

Great 80's classic. I found it to be intriguing and thought provoking with a great cast to boot.
